Braised BBQ
Ingredients:
40 ounce beer
large bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
2 to 4 pounds of your favorite BBQ meat. (pork butt, brisket, ribs, large chicken pieces)
garlic powder
onion powder
black pepper
salt
large tin baking pan
Preparation:
Mix beer and BBQ sauce in tin pan, then set aside
coat your meat with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste
On a gas grill sear meat on both sides on high heat for a minute or two, just till brown
turn heat to low on grill
put meat in tin pan and cover with tin foil
place pan on grill and cook for 90 minutes.
Remove meat from pan and eat
